The Grandmothers' August Message: the Mother

"Tell them about us," the Grandmothers said. "This is important because life on earth has had to 'make do' without a mother for thousands of years and therefore knows very little about the Divine Feminine. And due to this absence, humanity has been forced to rely entirely on the Masculine Principal of energy. The energy of yang cannot by itself supply all that humanity needs," they pointed out, "but you have had to turn exclusively to the Masculine Principal because the Feminine Principal has been absent. Absent for so long," they continued, "that people today have little or no understanding of the beauty and power of yin." Shaking their heads sadly, the Grandmothers said, "For too many years humanity has had no Mother.

"The Great Mother was driven from the earth long ago and people were told false stories about Her. The story of Eve eating the apple for instance," they said, shaking their heads in disgust. "Stories that depict the feminine as weak, as duplicitous, even as conniving. All lies," they said in dismissal.

Then they stood tall and announced, "The Mother is now returning and we, the Grand Mothers, have come to usher Her in. Those of you who feel called to work with us will help speed Her return," they said, "and the more of you that work with us, the sooner She will return. The world needs mothering now," they said and added, "There is no time to waste.

"We have explained how to work with us in order to bring about this great change," the Grandmothers said, "in our book, 'A Call to Power: the Grandmothers Speak.' Use the book," they said, nodding to emphasize its importance. "Study it and discuss our teachings for by doing this you will automatically start to live our message," they said.

"Gather together to share what you are learning ," they said, "and each time you do, cast the Net of Light for your planet. We have come to teach you of the power of the Feminine Principal of creation. To teach you how to live this power," they explained. "The Feminine Principal is your birthright. You no longer need live in a motherless world, cut off from the Power/Beauty of your own nature. This is why we have come," they said, smiling, clearly pleased with themselves.

"Taking this path with us is not difficult. This path does not lead to suffering," they said, "although the path your world is on now does." Then almost glaring, twelve impassioned Grandmothers chorused, "Wake up! You are needed now. Hear our message and receive what we have come to give. Accept the gift of empowerment into the Feminine Principal and pass it on. Read our message," they said. "Live it, and spread it. Your world is starved for the love of the Mother and we assure you that She is returning and that we, the Grand Mothers, are bringing her back. Get cracking!" they cried and gave me a playful shove, "Share this message."

Then they cocked their heads and seemed to study me. "Who do you think we are?" they asked, and I stared at them, wondering what they meant. "Wasn't it your earthly grandmother who gave birth to your mother?" they asked. "Well?" they said, and with raised eyebrows they held my eyes for a minute or more. "The same is true here," they finally said. "We have come to return the Mother to humanity and we are asking you to ready yourself to receive Her."

"Gather together," they repeated, "Study our book. Share our message and pass it on. We have come for all," they said, "and now is the time for this to take place. We have told you that we will do the work of rescuing your planet with or without you," they said, "but if you miss this chance to be part of it, you will 'kick yourself' as you say.

"Wake up,"the Grandmothers said again. "We are here! Now is the time. Call us. Begin today to live our message. We have shown you how. Come along on the ride," they said, beckoning me playfully , "and together we will lift your planet." Then with somewhat puzzled expressions on their faces they asked, "What are you waiting for?"
