Message from the Grandmothers

Walking your path

I journeyed to the Grandmothers to ask them about the many people who are drawn to their teachings who want to be of service in this troubled world. "Each one wants to feel that she or he is a vessel for love, for good and for change of the right kind," I said, "but not everyone feels it as much as they"d like to. These people want to be an instrument," I said. Please, show us how to be an instrument for good.

I repeated my question, keeping my eyes fixed on them, and as I took a breath and stood up, they said, "Who do you think you are?" This startled me but I knew their words weren"t meant as criticism. "You belong to the Divine," they said. "You are a vessel of light and love." I listened intently and gradually became aware of how hollow I was becoming. I looked down and saw the light and love they had spoken of; it was flooding through me. As I watched this moving river of light a line from a song, "Empty thyself in the sight of the Lord and he will fill you up," came to me. The Grandmothers turned and said, "Sit or stand tall. Then call on us and think of breathing with us; when you do this you will feel us within and around you. We are light," they said. "We are love. We are power. We are the force of good and goodness. These you are also. As you keep your spine straight, we will fill you. You become a reed, a hollow flute, a pipeline for radiance to pour through. A place where radiance can live, a place from which it can move forth.

"See yourself walking like this," they said, "full of light. You are light. You are love and power and goodness. As you walk through your home, this is what you are. As you walk down the street, this is what you are. Now move to your 3rd eye and heart," they said. "As you focus awareness in these places, you will feel the light radiating out from your 3rd eye and your heart. These 2 beams of light will converge in front of you and with this larger, beacon of light you will greet the world. By using this beacon you can feel, sense and know the power, love and goodness that move forth from you. Feel this," they commanded. "Light pours through your 3rd eye and heart, comes together in front of you and forms a large beacon. This then greets the world.

"This beacon will show you your path," they said. "It is lit by the 3rd eye and heart; your way is lighted. The way is lit from you to others; light will clear the way. It will draw to you all the beings and experiences that you need.

"From time to time you may become distracted by the dramas and traumas of the world," the Grandmothers said, "but in spite of this, always remember that this pathway of light is present. It is real. Your way will always be lit from within. We tell you that when you walk this path you can do no wrong. Nor can any harm come to you. When you walk this way everyone you encounter will respond to the light that guides and accompanies you. "The path of light is purposeful, pure, and simple; only certain ones are drawn to it. This is because many people prefer the drama, trauma and excitement of the world. They may seek sensory bombardment or their egos may seek feeding. The world provides plenty of distractions and this will always be so. It is all part of the play here on earth. But you have been called to do This work and because you have been called, you have the opportunity to walk this path, if you choose. This is the inward path; it is lit by the heart and the wisdom of the 3rd eye.

"The beacon of light will illumine everything in front of you go. It will not shine so far down the way that you will get distracted by possibilities (goals, fantasies, and mental entertainments), but far enough down the line that you can see your way and take the proper steps. And we will walk with you," the Grandmothers said. "As we walk together you can feel how our love enfolds you, surrounds and fills you. One step at a time," they emphasized. "When you walk the path lit by the wisdom of the 3rd eye and the heart you will always know what to do. There will be no obstacle so great that you will not be able to surmount it. "This path leads to great and even greater wisdom," they said. "It leads to enlightenment. Finding your path is not about doing certain deeds or about being thought of by others in a particular way," they said. "It does not have to do with an amassing of accomplishments. Nothing that concerns measurement or viewing by others or by self is relevant to this path. This is the path to God," they said. "This is the path to your own Self, to awakening to who you are. "We encourage you to walk this path, to see what it"s like to walk with us or with any form of the Divine that you love. Let us surround you and let the light that pours from your 3rd eye and heart light the way. It will do so. All you need to do is think of your desire to walk forward with the Divine and then call on us. We promise you that you will never have a bad day. You may encounter difficulties and challenges on the path, but you will never have a bad day because we will be with you. Your way will be shown.

"Many of you wonder, 'What is my purpose? What is my purpose?" they said. "We tell you, This is it. You were born to walk in light, to be a vessel, a vehicle of light and love. That is your heart"s desire. You can take this step right now and walk this path or you can wait if you want. You can play around the edges of this truth if you want to and distract yourself with drama and trauma. There is always plenty of that around. "But when you are tired of distractions, come to us and call on us. Feel your heart as we surround you and feel your connection to your 3rd eye. You will find that you are full of light. You are a vessel of light. When you choose this path, your way will be clear.
