Fourth Annual Gathering of the Grandmothers

March 19 to March 21, 2010

Grandmothers

Canyon at Aliso Creek Inn, site of the Gathering

Once again, we will gather at the Aliso Creek Inn in Laguna Beach, California to deepen our connection with the Grandmothers and with one another-Communion in Community. We will be coming together to powerfully anchor the Grandmothers' message on earth.

Women from across the United States and from Europe will gather to reactivate the energy of Yin within the soil of America. We will meet at a power point on the medicine wheel for the western United States. Blue Thunder performed ceremonies on Aliso Creek Beach a few years ago to empower this medicine wheel for a large area of western America and the fourth Annual Gathering of the Grandmothers will meet there also, at the Aliso Creek Inn.

A Tewa-Hopi Medicine woman and spiritual guide along with the New Breed Healers will teach us the power of the sacred circle and the importance of community. A dancer from Northern California will lead us in dancing the Grandmothers' meditations. A psychologist from the Netherlands who uses expressive arts to access core issues will work with us to embody the Divine Feminine and women from the Sacred Female Rising in Germany will report on their work with re-sanctifying the "witch" burning sites where midwives, herbalists and healers were killed in Europe during the middle ages.

All are welcome. You can read about the Gatherings in 2007, 2008 and 2009 on the News & Events page. Here is the essential information on the 2010 gathering.
