The Grandmothers say, "We have come to empower women so that each
one so empowered can begin to bring the great imbalance on earth into
balance. The feminine principle of energy must be re-established to its
rightful place. Each woman who receives the Grandmothers empowerment is
helping infuse the much-needed energy of yin into the earth by embodying
this consciousness herself.
This infusion of energy gives a woman a feeling of peace and security.
It increases the power of love in her, and as she goes about her daily
life she becomes a blessing to others."
The Grandmothers wrapped Sharon in a "caul" (large shawl)
and gave her the empowerment, which she has passed on to thousands of
women, from Southern California to Lithuania. The work continues all over
the world.
Receiving the Empowerment
Empowerment groups use ceremony to pass on the Empowerment to women and
the Cloak of Comfort to men. But, empowerment can be achieved from reading
"A Call to Power: the Grandmothers Speak." and "Our Love Is Our Power". The Grandmothers
say, "Although a ceremony honors us and makes the experience stronger,
no ceremony is necessary to receive what we have come to give. It is the
pure heart and desire to serve that calls us. It is our
empowerment. We give it. We draw to us those who seek and are ready for
this, and to such people we will come. The greatest use you can make of
our message is to live it."
Some people experience the empowerment by reading the book, while others
have joined together and created their own ceremonies to receive it. The
Grandmothers say, "Those desiring to share the experience together may
devise a ceremony, but there is no one way to do this. Simply gather, ask
and receive. All are welcome to this gift we give -if the desire comes from
the heart."

Passing on the Empowerment
There are more than 150 Empowerment groups and study circles,
from California and New Jersey to Lithuania and Slovenia, that hold ceremonies
to pass on the empowerment and cast the Net of
Light. There is no charge for passing on the Grandmothers' Empowerment.
Passing on the Grandmothers' Empowerment
is something any woman with a pure heart and a sincere desire to serve can do.
These gifts are meant for all humankind, for everyone who wants what the
Grandmothers have come to give. The Empowerment is given to women and the
Cloak of Comfort to men, although the one performing these acts should always
be a woman. Passing on these gifts is easy, because the Grandmothers will
truly do all the work. And participating with the Grandmothers is guaranteed
to bring you joy.
