At this critical time in history, the Grandmothers have come, offering us the experience of truth, peace and hope. Their message, empowerment and cloak of comfort are meant for everyone; the Grandmothers are throwing us a lifeline, a lifeline we can share.
After passing the Grandmothers’ Empowerment to many people, Sharon McErlane realized she was reaching only a few of those who wanted this message. To help spread that message, she wrote “A Call to Power: the Grandmothers Speak.” Besides a fascinating read, she realized the book is was also a good tool for a chapter by chapter study circle or discussion group. And so, the first Grandmothers group was formed. There are now about 25 groups all over the world, and their numbers are growing.
Each month we email new messages from the Grandmothers. These can also be used for discussion. Talking about the Grandmothers’ lessons makes the lessons more vivid and real, and as we share our personal experiences of the Grandmothers’ truth, we amplify the learning for one another.
The meditations in the last chapter of “A Call to Power: the Grandmothers Speak” and in the monthly ‘Message from the Grandmothers’ are designed for individual or group meditation. Each will let you experience of one of the Grandmothers’ lessons. Each will also give you a taste of the Grandmothers’ love and wisdom.
Most Grandmothers’ groups meet monthly. At our meetings we tell the story of how and why the Grandmothers came, share the basic points of their message, pass their empowerment and cloak of comfort on to new people, and finish by casting the Net of Light for the world. Some groups vary this format a bit.
Although we don’t charge money for the Grandmothers’ Empowerment, we gratefully accept donations. And now that the Grandmothers’ message has begun to spread over the world, we are especially grateful for the contributions that make this possible.
We have a recording of a Grandmothers meeting on tape and CD. This includes the Grandmothers’ story, message, empowerment ceremony, a meditation/lesson and the Net of Light exercise. To start a Grandmothers’ group in your area, first ground yourself in their message by reading “A Call to Power: the Grandmothers Speak.” The audio of the Grandmothers’ meeting will help give you confidence as well as material for starting a group so we suggest you also get that. Suggest that everyone who joins the group read “A Call to Power: The Grandmothers Speak.” The only other thing you will need to begin is a large, silky scarf for the empowerment and cloak of comfort ceremonies.
Any of the women who lead Grandmothers’ groups will be happy to help get you started. If this is something you feel drawn to, please contact Sharon through this website and we will help you begin. Your group will be listed here so that others can find you.
The Grandmothers say, “We will fill you full. Let us.” They will.
